Peter Hutchinson
Chairman

Mr Hutchinson holds a Bachelor of Commerce (UWA) and is a Fellow of both the Australian Institute of Company Directors and Certified Practicing Accountants.

Over a 30-year period and at the most senior level (via private equity), he has managed a diverse portfolio of industrial investments in manufacturing, engineering, construction and property.

Mr Hutchinson has chaired listed public company AI Limited and more recently Resource Equipment Ltd. He was a Non-Executive Director of Kumarina Resources Ltd (now Zeta Resources Ltd) and previously a founding shareholder, CEO and Chairman of Forge Group Ltd. He also holds private equity investments in commercial, industrial and rural real estate, electrical contracting and until recently, construction activities in West Africa.

Mr Hutchinson has experience in M&A, prospectus preparation, ASX listings, ASIC issues, corporate governance, company secretarial requirements and exit strategies. He has also been a member of Audit Committees, Remuneration and Nomination Committees (often as Chairman). He is currently a Council Member of St Thomas More College (UWA) and sits on the Aquinas College Foundation, Perth Western Australia.

David Lock
Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director

Mr Lock was appointed as Managing Director on 1 January 2016. He is a chartered accountant and joined the Craig Mostyn Group, a privately owned agribusiness company, in 1996. He was appointed CEO of the Group in 2004 and oversaw the growth each of the Craig Mostyn Group’s key divisions until he left in December 2015.

He was appointed to the Board of Food Industry Association of WA in 2007, and chaired that body from 2008 to 2011. In 2012 he was appointed as Chairman of the WA Meat Industry Authority and in January 2014 was appointed as a Non-Executive director of the Water Corporation. In 2015, he was appointed to the Curtin Business School Advisory Council. In 2012, Mr Lock was recognised as the Australian Agribusiness Leader of the year and in 2013 was inducted as an Australian Export Hero by the Export Council of Australia. He is a fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

James Clement
Chief Operating Officer & Executive Director

Mr Clement joined the Board in August 2015 as a Non-Executive Director. He holds a Masters of Business Administration, a Bachelor of Science in Aquaculture and Seafood Science, a Graduate Diploma in Agribusiness and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Mr Clement has worked in the commercial fishing industry with Focus Fisheries Pty Ltd for three years and was appointed General Manager in 2014. He is also a member of the Western Australian Fishing Industry Council’s resource access committee.

He has over 10 years of experience in financial services, in which he held roles with JM Financial Group, Euroz Securities Limited, and Blackswan Equities.

Mark Pitts
Non-Executive Director

Mr Pitts holds a Bachelor degree in Business (Curtin) and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants with more than 25 years of experience working in commercial, corporate finance and public practice roles in Australia and overseas. He has been directly involved with, and consulted to a number of public companies holding senior financial management positions.

Mr Pitts is a partner in the corporate advisory firm Endeavour Corporate, established in 2004. Endeavour Corporate provides company secretarial support as well as corporate, governance and compliance advice to a number of ASX-listed public companies.

Mr Pitts has many years of experience in the Accounting profession and in commerce across a variety of industries. He commenced his career in finance working for KPMG in Australia and overseas, before working in the property, healthcare and mineral-extraction industries.

Mr Pitts has been Company Secretary since May 2013.

Felix Ratheb
Non-Executive Director

Mr Ratheb has been the Chief Executive of the Sea Harvest Group since December 2013 and has worked in the fishing and food industry since 2003. Sea Harvest is one of the largest vertically integrated fishing companies in South Africa and a leading food retail brand with a presence in 2400 supermarkets, employing more than 2500 people with a strong presence in Australia for over 50 years.

Mr Ratheb completed his BSc Engineering degree (Hons) in 1995 at Wits University and holds an MBA from the University of Cape Town. He serves as Executive Director on the Sea Harvest Board and a Non-Executive Director on the Seavuna Board. He also serves as an independent trustee on the MSC Board of Trustees in the UK, where the MSC is the largest eco-labelling and sustainability program for fish stocks globally. He is on the Executive and is a Board member of the Groundfish Forum, the largest whitefish conference globally.

Fred Robertson
Non-Executive Director

Fred Robertson serves as Executive Chairman of Brimstone Investment Corporation Ltd, a company which he co-founded in 1995. His Non-Executive chairmanships include Lion of Africa Insurance Company Limited, Lion of Africa Life Assurance Company Limited, Sea Harvest Limited, Novus Holdings Limited, and House of Monatic. He also serves as non-executive director on the boards of Remgro Limited, Aon Re Africa (Pty) Limited, Old Mutual Emerging Markets Limited, and Swiss Re South Africa. Fred’s trusteeships and patronages include, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the University of the Western Cape Foundation; Interim Chairman of the Jakes Gerwel Foundation; Member of the Cape Peninsula University of Technology Entrepreneurship Advisory Board; Trustee of the Masizizane Fund; Patron to the South African Academy for Young Leaders; and Patron to the Youth Unemployment Peoples Project. Fred received the CNBC AFRICA All Africa Business Leadership Awards (AABLA) Entrepreneur of the Year Award 2014. In April 2016 Fred was conferred an Honorary Doctorate in Philosophy by the University of the Western Cape.

Muhammad Brey
Alternate Director

Muhammad is a qualified Chartered Accountant. After completing articles at KPMG, Muhammad joined the Corporate Finance division of Nedbank Capital where he implemented a number of mergers and acquisitions, capital and debt raisings, listings and BEE transactions.

In 2009, Muhammad joined Brimstone as Managing Executive where his responsibilities include identifying, implementing and funding acquisitions, managing Brimstone’s investment portfolio and driving growth at portfolio companies.

Muhammad serves as the Chairman of Obsidian Health and is a founder and director of South African Enterprise Development Company, an investment company providing equity growth capital to high potential small and medium sized enterprises.

Muhammad is managing executive responsible for Sea Harvest, including assisting management with local and offshore expansion.`
